A WALK, SONGS & TALKS across CUMBRIA, ENGLAND for MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

EVENTS

Along the route I performed free gigs with a talk running between the songs. Although my songs are not overtly about mental health, they do link with themes talked about and at some of the venues the audience got involved, talking about their own experiences.

An exciting boost was that Frank Turner promoted the project on twitter and facebook to all his fans. He also suggested his song, 'If Ever I Stray', for me to play at the gigs.

I also asked Cumbrian poet and songwriter, Ann Wilson to suggest one of her songs. You can hear, 'Stop Raining Down' on this page.
